Colorectal Cancer Screening

​

  • Screening enables you to find out if you have a particular disease or condition even if you do not have any symptoms and/or signs of diseases. Early detection means that you can get early treatment, resulting in better outcomes.

  • The Colorectal Cancer Screening involves testing a sample of your stool in a lab to be checked for any presence of blood using a test called ‘Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT).’

  • Eligibility:
    a.    Citizens and permanent residents of Brunei Darussalam
    b.    Aged 50-75 years
    c.    No current or previous history of colorectal cancer
    d.    Have not had a colonoscopy done within the past 10 years
    e.    Have not had a stool test to detect blood done within the past 2 years
